-What is hydroxyethyl Cellulose - HEC ? 

Hydroxyethyl Cellulose is a kind of cellulose ether that derived from cellulose.  Main raw material is refined cotton, liquid alkali and ethylene oxide. Mainly used in paint & coatings, personal care products and household products as thickener.  Used in oil and gas industry as drilling mud additive ect. 


-Functions / Advantages in applications? 


(1) HEC(hydroxyethyl cellulose)  in Paint and coatings

Better Boistability                Better stability in hot environment
